Elena Kats-Chernin’s Wild Swan


This concert will feature the work Wild Swan by Soviet-born Australian composer Elena Kats-Chernin, performed by an outstanding trio of local artists to the inner west suburbs of Sydney.

The story, Wild Swan, within the concert is based on “The Wild Swans” fairy-tale by Hans Christian Andersen, and tells the tale of Eliza the princess whose wicked stepmother (a witch) has changed Eliza’s eleven brothers into swans. A story that will thrill and captivate young and old alike!
